My counseling philosophy is grounded in the belief that all individuals have the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change when supported within a safe, nonjudgmental, and empathetic environment. I prioritize building strong therapeutic relationships rooted in trust, respect, and cultural humility, recognizing the uniqueness of each client’s lived experience. I utilize a client-centered, trauma-informed approach to meet individuals where they are, while supporting the development of emotional regulation, insight, and effective coping strategies. I am committed to helping clients navigate challenges such as anger, stress, and life transitions, while fostering both resilience and personal accountability. I have a particular interest in working with justice-involved and probation populations, acknowledging the systemic barriers, stigma, and reintegration challenges they often face. My goal is to support these individuals in building stability, reducing risk of recidivism, and strengthening skills that promote long-term personal growth and community integration. Through ethical and culturally responsive practice, I strive to empower clients to take an active role in their healing process and to build lives that align with their values, goals, and overall. well-being.
